Douglas McCoy is an outgoing, market orientated enigma residing for the last few years next door to the Australian Prime Minister, in Kirribilli, right on the water in the most beautiful Harbour in the World; Sydney Harbour directly opposite the Famous Sydney Opera House, which Doug calls:  “My Back Yard Shed”.

Douglas McCoy has a reputation as “The Ideas Man.” There are no problems in Douglas McCoy’s life, only opportunities. Douglas has ReCREATED himself so many times to challenge himself and succeed in so many areas in his life. Doug wanted to try many areas of life so he could personally relate, speak and write with authority and real experiences world wide. An exponent of physical fitness, Douglas has played 1st Grade Rugby Union in the Sydney competition and holds St George’s RU record for the “Most Tries Scored in One Day” (6 tries).  Doug gave up the opportunity to play for Australia to serve a 2 year full time Mission for his Church in USA and England.

Doug has also represented NSW in First Division - Rugby League selected to play against Queensland, winning Man of The Match – Best and Fairest for NSW at Suncorp Stadium in 1979.  As a Young Athlete Douglas was chosen by Cleo (Girls) Magazine as “The Sexiest Man in Rugby Union” and offered to do a centre fold.

 The rebound exercise - mini trampolines which are so widely known in Australia, where in fact introduced to Australia and New Zealand in 1981 by Douglas McCoy who recruited over 6,500 sales staff, making the rebounders known in every home nation wide through his Public Seminars, TV and magazine exposure.  Douglas McCoy has also been a winner in the business arena, right from when he was awarded Apprentice of the Year for NSW for his trade.

Winner of the Thomas Ian Award as “Top Student for Sydney Technical College”, he has run businesses in Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Philippines and New Zealand, plus he owns International companies.  Douglas has travelled the world, studying business, religions and philosophies.

Douglas was a Finalist for “Australia’s Young Executive of the Year” by the Bulletin Magazine and Compac Computers in 1986. Doug was a millionaire before the age 30.

During the 1980’s he established and personally owned the biggest and first major Security Franchise Chain in Australia which he built into an $11million a year business.  Douglas then expanded to Franchise off New Zealand and then Great Britain. Douglas was made a Maori Chief in New Zealand for his assistance to the Maori people, in the ceremony they referred to Douglas as: “The Financial Saviour to the Maori People”, at that time.  Douglas McCoy is today we believe is only the third person that has been made a Maori Chief with no Maori blood, or even New Zealand blood; since the Second World War.


Doug developed a marketing concept that sold $6.5 million of IBM computers in 6 weeks, which established a new World Record for The Most Personal Sales of IBM Computers in 6 weeks. Douglas received an MBA through the International Program – Jakarta Institute of Management Studies– World Association of Universities in 2000.

Throughout the 1990’s he had a 7 year battle with the head of London’s East End Mafia, plus Australia’s Most Renowned Gangster and Stand Over Man – the legendary Tim Bristow. He survived and is still alive to tell the story. These encounters and bazaar experiences are covered in his book:
